Informative Speech
In oral communication class, we had to do another speech that was infomative. It was supposed to teach the audience about something related to you, that they might not know much about.
My topic was Anemia. I choose this topic because I had some experiences with it, and most people don't know exactly what it is. Anemia is a blood disorder that is caused by low amounts of red blood cells, or iron in your blood. It can get very severe, but luckily mine wasn't so bad. I did have some scary moments though. One time I was in a friend's Quincenera. I was up front at the final ceremony and I fainted. It was pretty embarassing and my boyfriend at the time was also in the ceremony with me and he was in shock, seeing me fall to the ground. i was only out for a few seconds, but it was pretty crazy. I didn't feel too well for the rest of the night, so I ended up going home and not getting to enjoy the reception. Also in Choir at school i fainted a few times during practices, becuase i would get weak, and not be able to stand up throught out the rehearsals. I did end up getting better though, and i know i dont have many problems.
